Son's first buck

My son took this nice buck down here in South Carlolina a couple of weeks ago.
he has passed on several small ones this year and finally took this guy.
Nice first buck. Now will have to try to top it. Funny thing is he has tinsel teeth so you never see him
smile. As you can see here no such holding back. I was pretty proud of him too.

Its always a lot of fun to hunt with one's son (or daughter for that matter).

Congratulations - on the buck, and the fish! Your son is lucky to have such a dad! I am proud of many things in my life - accomplishments like being in SF, etc. However, the thing I am most proud of is being a "good dad"! We need more...

Good stuff! Where in SC? Great size for a coastal deer.

I was bragging about my daughter to this nice old lady once. Feeling a little embarrassed, I corrected myself and told her how I didn't want to bore her with my kids accomplishments. She told me, "Don't be ashamed to brag on your little ones son. The day will come that you won't want to admit they're yours!"

God bless.

Nice one and I am jealous! I can't wait tell I get the OK from the Boss Lady to take my Lad on a hunt.
