I believe that SF is a 'calling' - not too different from the calling missionaries I know received. I knew instantly that it was for me, and that I would do all I could to achieve it. Most others I know in SF experienced something similar. If, as you say, you HAVE searched and read, and you do not KNOW if this is the path for you --- it is not....

Always good to see the true American Warrior that doesn't accept no, or will not quit.

That man knows his limits and I'm sure wouldn't be pursuing it if he thought it would endanger others or promote additional risk.

Agreed Sir! In today's day and age, it is inspiring to read about this Ranger, and his intestinal fortitude to Never Quit, and Never Give Up!!!

We need more stories like this in the media to remind Americans that there are still Those out there who can be looked upon as heroes, IMHO.
