Tribute for quiet professionals
In the spirit of Veterans Day, here's a tribute for past, present, and future Special Forces soldiers. You all have and will continue to inspire me to be all that I can be, and an overall better person. For that, I thank you. Hope you like the vid.

It's the SF Prayer to We Were Soldiers soundtrack.
I apologize if the words are hard to read. I was working from memory and paid more attention to synchronizing the scenes and transitions to the music. I wanted to show the meaning behind the three lightning bolts, SF as a team (no shots of individual macho lone ranger like in SEALs, Rangers, Army Strong/Army of One vids), and the ever-present drive for excellence, while keeping humility as embodied in the quiet professionalism. There's at least one QP from this site in the vid, can you spot him?

FrostFire and Orion said it beautifully.
THANK YOU to every one who has ever represented and fought for our freedom and safety in uniform.
QP's, all of you will always have a very special place in my heart.
To all here who have served, and those who do serve our great country and keep us safe, you're the greatest. All heros in my eyes.

Thank you to all of our servicemen and women who have sacrificed so much in the name of freedom and justice - especially those in the QP community whose service often goes without public recognition.
Instead of storytime last night, I spoke to my children about Veteran's day and why we celebrate it. Unprompted,. my son told me before giving my hug goodnight that he would make sure to tell his teachers and classmates to celebrate and thank our veterans (he does good for a 6 y/o.)

Thanks, frostfire.
Just watched the video... It was short... but very moving...
Just wanted to add my personal thanks (retired SF - Cold War Era) to all of the QPs... past, present, and future... for your perserverence, tenacity, loyalty, and willingness to accomplish the mission with little, or no, recognition... so that we can still enjoy the freedoms that we have...
Once again, Thank You!!!

Very nice, ff.
A heartfelt thank you to all who serve, and have served. Regardless of whether or not you saw "action", your sacrifice in service is much appreciated.
