Iranian student confronts Ayatollah Ali Khamenei

It'll be interesting to see if this guy is still around in 1-2 weeks, even if he takes Asylum in Europe.

Bief excerpt:

Quote:
An unassuming college math student has become an unlikely hero to many in Iran for daring to criticize the country's most powerful man to his face.

Mahmoud Vahidnia has received an outpouring of support from government opponents for the challenge — unprecedented in a country where insulting supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is a crime punishable by prison.

Perhaps most surprising, the young math whiz has so far suffered no repercussions from the confrontation at a question-and-answer session between Khamenei and students at Tehran's Sharif Technical University.

It could be that every time we mess with their internal affairs it blows up in our face. Do you really think that DOS is good at international Political affairs?

Give them time and they will change or all die fighting each other. We can only hope.........

intresting = interesting

Do you mean DOS or the Iranians? ha!

The Iranians will be fine if we just leave them alone - perhaps after someone does something about those nukes.

Wow, Khamenei is back from the dead I see:

Didn't the floodgates to the '79 revolution open after the Shah backed off a bit? I wonder if something similar might occur this time round.
