Being that she was in Canada you almost wonder if it wasn't a pair of wolves.
The coyote population where I live has become a problem. More and more urban developement has not pushed them away but has made them adapt their to their new enviroment. There are plenty of garbadge cans for them to eat from and some people actually feed them because they think they're cute.
When I was younger and meaner we used to shoot them for sport.
