Bob Barker was on the news this weekend, possibly in regards to this thread. I missed the first part of the interview, but caught the part where he said that he was an Aviator during WWII. He had just finished his flight training and had orders to the Pacific when the Japanese surrendered. He said that "they heard I was coming in a (don't remember the plane he mentioned, but the one he had just gotten qualified in), and they quit!!!" he downplayed his service, while pushing the support of our military members.

My hat is off to him and the other members of Hollywood and professional sports teams who had the balls to serve our country and not hide behind a skirt.
