Joe Wilson exposed as heavy drug user.

They had to dig something up after he criticized The One. I imagine J. Jonah Jameson yelling "Get me anything you can on Joe Wilson!"

Wilson took caffeine pills in 2007
By Jordan Fabian - 09/10/09 06:21 PM ET

Rep. Joe Wilson (R-S.C.), who shouted "you lie!" at President Obama during his Wednesday night address to Congress, admitted to regularly consuming caffeine pills in 2007.

It is unclear if Wilson still takes NoDoz, a brand of pill that contains 200 milligrams of caffeine a pop. By comparison, a seven ounce cup of drip coffee contains 115 to 175 milligrams of caffeine.

A source told The Hill in 2007 that the congressman ingested the tablets “like candy," but Wilson insisted he was not addicted despite the fact that he had been taking them since high school.

"I love coffee, but I don’t have time to drink it and I don’t have access to it," Wilson said at the time.

The fifth-term Republican said he shared his NoDoz use with his doctor, who Wilson said assured him that the over-the-counter pills are not dangerous unless you get addicted.

Wilson interrupted the president yesterday night after he said that his health reform plan will not insure illegal immigrants. He quickly apologized for his outburst last night but maintained that Obama was lying in a radio interview today.

Jeeeessssszzzzzzzzzz.........

That's the BEST the Dems can come up with???

Actually it might just backfire on them. It might ADD to Joe's appeal. Just like Berry's admitted use of COCAINE while he was in H.S. and College.

Oh heck yes. I start my day off with a dble cuban expresso con leche. Keep a pot of expresso on the stove and toss it over ice later in the day. I zip right along. No Doz? The good Rep from the State of SC is an amatuer.

Teddy, Iced Luzianne coffee.

Cocaine is cool though?

Caffeine? What about Obama's admitted use of marijuana and cocaine on 60 Minutes, this is overlooked because he was upfront about it, I guess I am out of touch with society?

Maybe the reason he was the only who shouted during the Obama's speech because he was the only one awake!

Democrats Ban Words "Liar, Hypocrite & Intellectually Dishonest" When Talking About President

Tuesday, September 15, 2009
House Democrats have decided to ban free speech in the US House of Representatives.
House members will no longer be able to call President Obama a "liar" even when he's lying.
The Politico reported:

Under section 370 of the House Rules and Manual it has been held that a Member could:

• refer to the government as “something hated, something oppressive.”
• refer to the President as “using legislative or judicial pork.”
• refer to a Presidential message as a “disgrace to the country.”
• refer to unnamed officials as “our half-baked nitwits handling foreign affairs.”

Likewise, it has been held that a member could not:

• call the President a “liar.”
• call the President a “hypocrite.”
• describe the President’s veto of a bill as “cowardly.”
• charge that the President has been “intellectually dishonest.”
• refer to the President as “giving aid and comfort to the enemy.”
• refer to alleged “sexual misconduct on the President’s part.”

Sure to be repealed the moment there is a Republican president... I'd call them Hypocrites, but thats on the banned list.

A blog post based upon a blog post equals...?

Interestingly, the Politico piece by Glenn Thrush, which he has revised, states what was already evident in its initial iteration (to those who read it). Source is here.
Quote:
[Just to clarify: Even though I clearly wrote that it was the committee "primer' -- and not the rules themselves -- that were updated, I've gotten a bunch of emails from readers who think Slaughter and Co. actually revised the underlying regs. Not so. The document produced was merely a new guide of existing rules.]
FWIW, the 108th Congress had Republican majorities in both chambers. That Congress's edition of Constitution, Jefferson's Manual, and Rules of the House of Representatives (available here) states in the "Rules of the House of Representatives," Rule XVII--Decorum and Debate, clause 1 (available here) concerns the conduct of members of the House of Representatives in addressing peers, members of the Senate, and the person of the president. Surprisingly, the clause discourages name calling.
