Qualification or Performance?

I see the Dems are again harping of Bush's military record. Four years ago this may have been pertinent, but not today. He has been CIC for 3 1/2 years now and the issue should be his performance as CIC TODAY.

It's not about what is relevant, it's about what kind of negativity you can bring into the "debate" (as it were).

You're making the assupmtion that the Dems care about relevance, accuracy, or appropriatenesss, or even logical consistancy in thier argument... or that 90% of Americans will give a rats ass about it (or be able to identify it themselves).

Was there any Democratic cries over lack of military service during the last administration? Yeah, didn't think so. Must not have been so important in choosing a leader back then.
