When we were rotating out of A-Stan and up to K2 back in '02, 2/19 support folks were jumping Russian helicopters to get their foreign wings, which looked a lot like the old Soviet wings.

If you know what the real wings look like,, as opposed to cheep nok-offs,, eBay..

Also, there is a thread on MP.net with several collectors,, might be worth a try.. Besides the thread on wings,, MP.net has a large Eastern European population. You might get someone on Uzbek active jump status??

My son just called from Romania.. they are refueling there... HE said to call the American Embassy in Uzbek and get them to help you.. ask for the military attache and explain your situation..

I can go one better.. I live in Pasedena MD... have to make a run to Bragg to carry himself back to base and maybe others on his team.. who knows who will pile into my car at 0630am.. in any case will be able to go down to DC Monday am to the Uzbek embassy if that will help. Will that be too late?. let me know via pm.. would be delighted to help anyway I can.

1ST US/UZBEK Jump

September 1996 Fergona Vally. I did the the DZ survey and named it Bedrock DZ. You will see by the picture why I named it that. You will also see what jumping a Russian chute did to me

If you find where to get wings let me know also, I gave mine to an old Vietnam Vet that still jumps for fun.

Uzbek Jump Wings

I found some through a company called Elite Ensignia. They are out of Estonia. The price for one set of wings is $24.95 plus $4.00 shipping.
