<------- putting on the tin foil
Any word if we need to run for cover?
Any word of an impending asteroid heading our way?
Any word of a non experienced person becoming POTUS and totaly screwing up our country?
Do I need to gather up all my guns and ammo and water and case of MREs?
Do I need to reread TR's "Be Prepared" thread from begining to end again?

I recommend using the Occam's Razor approach to it all.

Nothing to solve - and it can be as significant or as insignificant as one would like.

Simple takes the prize.
I believe the "razor" was credited to friar William of Ockham in the 14th century. No idea where the current spelling came from.

Pretty awesome. I'm sure the astrology buffs had some interesting theories.

Gypsy--
The Quackery United Alliance of American Prognosticators (QUAAP), has asked me to remind you that this is a long-resolved issue. Numbers are the domain of numerologists, not astrologists.
If you have any questions, you can contact their call center, pictured below, via telepathy, channeling, or astral projection.
They have also asked me to remind you to "Press #1 for English."

Numbers
The Chinese can be very superstitious about them. The number 8 is considered to be the most lucky one. Maybe thats why the Olympics in Bejing started on 08/08/2008 at 8:08:08. Interesting huh?
Numerology is an interesting study as is the ancient Chinese philosophy of the flow of positive energy that's called Feng Shui.
