That is nuts...
There was a kid here in Houston who was suspended for two weeks for bringing a watergun to school. The school board defended their actions due to the definiton of a gun being as follows: Something goes into the gun and something comes out, therefore it is a gun. The alleged perp was a kindergartner...

Hmm... something goes in a human and something comes out, does that mean we are in fact not humans but guns?

Where oh where did they EVER find that definition?

Common sense is so truly dead for the masses.

Homeless Man Plays with

Lightrail

PHOENIX - A light rail train was taken out of service Tuesday morning after someone left a nasty surprise inside.

Around 8 a.m., a train was stopped for cleaning after a man smudged feces in the interior of the train. Police were told the man on the train was flicking and playing with feces.

The light rail operator was notified and quickly took the train out of service.

"It is a biohazard, and we have protocol for how we handle a situation like this," says Hillary Foose. Those protocols include disinfecting the train.

It was discovered near the 38th St and Washington station.

The man, who police say is homeless, was questioned at the station and released. Police plan to review surveillance video on the train.

Sorry, couldn't resist

The solution is simple ... drink it all.

Police believe the incident stemmed from a bigger problem of kids from town going on campus and rummaging through dumpsters looking for unused alcohol, which campus security says has been on ongoing problem.
Obviously this University has a serious nerd factor if any measurable quantity of alcoholic beverages are being discarded.

How's this for absurd?

My son's friend was recently suspended for ten days for DRAWING a picture of a gun. This was the third time he has been reprimanded and he did smart off to the teacher (I interrogated him thoroughly). But it is in the rule book that they cannot draw weapons. It is in the section of their III, IV, & V infractions.

Well, the article does say the kid stuck it in his waistband, so the big orange plug wouldn't have been visible.

I agree with others, though - why are they dumpster diving for booze? Why is there any booze available in the dumpsters?

Wow, that shows that a serious problem of alcohol abuse is prevelant at Princeton. Somebody should look into that. Honestly, don't they know how wasteful that is...I am sure there are plenty of winos on the street that would give their souls for that wasted alcohol. Why are the tenured professors and leftists on campus not holding a protest on this!!??

But seriously folks, if the "reporter" had assumed that it was a toy gun and later we had a multitude of dead on campus, then everyone would be screaming the question, "why didn't anyone see this person with a gun and report it!?".

Wow - things must have really changed since my time in college! We would've never done anything like that!
