A good concept, which I like. Would be a great tool for providing 24/7 overwatch of routes, with the (eventual) ability to defend itself while there. No need to feed it or give it smoke breaks. Fuel and batteries might prove to be a hurdle though.

I think the "3x faster than current tanks" is a bit of a stretch...

The M1A2 is GOVERNED at 42mph, but without this restriction, can travel 60mph - the same top speed as the UGV in question.

"RipSAW"

These guys were already on the Discovery and Military Channel. It was a show about small dudes getting the big buck military contracts. It is a very interesting view point where the small guys have the ideas and can expand on even the trillion dollar R&D departments that the Army holds.

Smart guys; it showed some images of their design software and process.

I like it and it will give a few options to reduce exposure in AStan. Put a FLIR on it and Mini gun and recon the route/village. Zip in ZIP Out. Looks like a good concept and is very air mobile as its weight is minimal.......... Shoot you could sling it in and set up in a AIR CAP and control it then go in and recover it. Teams could get a lot of benefit in that mode. Just a thought....
