Question Borowed from SF patch?

Attention all green hats.....



I was watchin a show on the Detroit Police SRT and it was pretty interesting. I noticed that their patch is pretty similar to you guys. Just thought it was interesting... here it is

I wouldn't be surprised if an SF Vet is in charge of the unit or at least had something to do with the design of the patch.

I think it is a tribute to SF. Now if it were associated with a less noble organization such as the Kerry Canoeers, I would take exception.

Looks funny to me.

Look at Army patches and tell me how many swords or arrows you see point down.

There is a heraldic reason for that that they seem to have missed.

I read about this somewhere, but I'm not sure it was Detroit. From what I remember the plank holders were indeed formers.

I don't like it, but like Reaper said...
