Arkonia specter surveillance system

If you have experience with these systems, or know what they cost could you please email me. I need to gather some information on them for the unit as they were included in a mission essential needs statement for us to buy some for our SOTA. The commander isn't buying it unless we can figure our how much they are and where the best place is to get them.

OK

I have had some interface and use of their products.

That one is a little limited and you would be better served with the ARK9380

It combines that one plus the VSU which is PTZ (Pan tilt Zoom)

There are a lot of company's that sell this type of equipment (Sensor sets) and Tactical Cameras.

You have to contact the company for Pricing. I have no clue what it cost on GSA schedule but it is not cheap.......

Their contact info is
Tel: +44 (0)1420 488646 • Email: commercial@arkonia.co.uk

I think they have a US Rep but it is not listed. If you e-mail them tonight you should have a response in the morning......

If it relates to SF surveillance or reconnaissance you can bet that the quite professionals at TSE Inc know about it, have an opinion about it and are able to provide competitive pricing if it is any good. Ed Connor is the head sales guy at TSE. His direct contact info is on their website www.tserecon.com.

Good Point ......But..... I can tell you vendors are there to Sell and no matter who they are that is their Job.

If someone that is an User (Opns) has insight it is best to get that info.

I deal with a lot of People that sell and their background is Great but they are there to move their product. There are a lot of systems out there that does what this equipment does and they all have their + and - to them. It will all depend on your need.

Where I work know they want a one thing does everything and that just does not really work all the times. I have on the shelf ready to roll several kits that do just this service but depending on my mission I change them up as to what is the best fit.

Just my 2 cents.... from a hell of a lot of time in the bush and street.

Seems like the unit has already made up their mind if this equipment is on their ONS. The original poster was asking where to get price information.

We have purchased tons of camera, audio, video and TTL equipment from TSE. The guys at TSE try to be one stop shopping for all things technical surveillance, to include training. Although I heard their two senior instructors quite a few weeks ago. Not sure how that is affecting their training side.

Off topic Hijack...

I always ge a chuckle how things get hung up on a specific solution (device) as opposed to a capability....
