Need help contacting Green Beret family friend

In the 60's my mother made friends with the young wife of a GB Captain who was doing a tour in Vietnam. My mother is now 82 and has expressed a desire to get in contact with her again.

Don't want to post names here in the clear, so I'd appreciate a PM from someone telling me how to find him or who can look him up. He's probably retired by now but maybe not.
