To recap, your recruiter's goals and yours may have some overlap, but are not identical. His job is to provide initial entry soldiers IAW the Army's strength and skill needs. Your desires are way down his list as long as he can get you into a contract and off to Basic. And if you have to seek affirmation on the internet, he is probably right and you are not ready for SF.
If you post another question that you could have easily found the answer for yourself, you will not be warned again.
