Rep. Young fighting efforts to re-instate assault weapons ban

Gotta love the Alaskan Republicans.

I am very glad they we have a Congressman making these statements to the press. It shows that some aren't willing to let what happened in 1994 happen again.

Good post thanks, it's nice to see someone is fighting for the people's rights every so often, I hope Congressman Young has the staying power to continue to do so, we're going to need it I suspect.

I shot him an email of thanks/encouragement we need to reinforce this type of behavior IMO.

Perhaps we should contact our own representatives and point out Rep. Young's actions as the model of behavior we expect from them.

I would urge everyone to contact their reps. Also an associate membership to the NRA is only $10 a year. Great gift for someone or everyone in your family.
