I was there and Thanks to all the 20th SFG and other NG troops that were helping the 600,000 houses that did not have power in KY. It was a cold place.

Again Thanks to all that pitched in and helped.

The NG SF guys in Florida did an absolutely magnificent job in the aftermath of the 2004 Hurricane Season (I was at Ivan ground-zero). I had a MSG from Group as LNO from the TAG, but he and his cohorts did a helluva lot more. I tried, but they never got the recognition they deserved (I know that's not why they do it). Thanks again, guys.

I believe that SF is a 'calling' - not too different from the calling missionaries I know received. I knew instantly that it was for me, and that I would do all I could to achieve it. Most others I know in SF experienced something similar. If, as you say, you HAVE searched and read, and you do not KNOW if this is the path for you --- it is not....
