PTSB/TBI

I believe all veterans are now screened for PTSD and TBI (Traumatic Brain Injuries).. It may have become universal about 1.5 years since that was when I was screened at a routine semi-annual check up at the VA.

I was working on manning and developing a PTSD and a TBI hotline. I left because the people developing it are IMHO crooked, lining their pockets in the name of helping disabled veterans. You can see a thread from a year ago ref the Military Order of the Purple Heart (good guys) and the Purple Heart Service Foundation ( not so good guys). The PHSF was working on the project.

I'm not sure of the status but there is help out there which can be gound through a web search.

Post traumatic stress is a normal and valuable reaction. Anyone involved in a serious (mostly life threatening) situation experiences it. It doesn't always develope intgo a disorder. I'm not sure sexual harrassment would qualify but sexual assault can.

This is a follow-up to the thread on DADT.
