Nov. 8th..........

This has been around for awhile, so if you've seen it, you might just give it a re-listen. It's worthy of a replay occasionally--or at least I think it is anyway.

Many of you are veterans and have served during this war. There may be a
few of you who were there or you know someone who served during this
time.
Some can identify because this is our generation. Please take a few
minutes and watch this video

In any case it is a part of our history "least we Forget" Honor the Vet.

This is a video regarding a battle in Viet Nam that happened on the 8th
of November 1965. The men that died that day fighting for us deserve our
respect and at the very least a few minutes of our time to remember
their sacrifice.

Also remember the men that carry the memory of that day embedded in
their hearts and minds and the families of the men that died that day
and their life time of memory for the sacrifice they made as well.

A Veteran is someone who fought for your freedom, when others wouldn't.

That was moving. I sent it to my uncle who was with the 101 and 173d then. I hope he likes it. Hope it don't wake up to many memories though.
