Foundations of Crisis (Generational cycles)

I have hesitated to post the attached PDF; the author wrote the original piece in 1997 and reviewed the associated trends and predictions recently. There are some regrettable comments about the current wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and I apologize in advance for any offense given by the author's comments.

I concluded that the effect of generational cycles might be of interest, despite the minor elements mentioned above, especially in terms of the implications over the next 20 years or so.

My own observations about peak oil, along with possible changes in food supply and population levels, suggest that widespread war is a probable (as opposed to possible) outcome in the next couple decades. The author comes up with similar conclusions following a completely different path.

(By the way...there are actually some positive elements included. )
