Thumbs up

Folks: Sumyall asked for stories. Here they are. These are short stories, most are less than two pages long. There is combat, humor, human interest and the gambit. I ordered mine but haven't received it. These are real stories from the real people who were there.

It's got to be good since I and others on this forum contributed

I read it before and some SOB stole it.

You need to be alone while reading it because...someone will piss you off while you are LYAO!

The one story about "MAGNET ASS" had me in tears as did the one about "The Monkey Patrol".

I'm ordering another copy!

Is this an online order only? I am in DC, and won't be home for three weeks, and there is a Borders book store right across the street.

I went over yesterday to pick up Billy Waugh's book, they don't have it yet.

Terry I'll get one of the SF Tales books for you.

Billy's book does not hit the stores until the 15th of this month, or so I've been told.

Well now I guess I have to buy it!

Of course, when you want me to actually write out a check and put it in an envelope, there's going to be a long delay. LOL If it was available on-line with a credit card, I'd have it ordered by now.

Cool Got Mine!!

The book is definitely worth it. It has 511 pages and is a bargain at $10.

Table of Contents:

How it was,
War stories,
creature tales,
humor,
jump stories,
Maggie,
OOPS!,
poetry,
various,
You ain't gonna believe,

There is something for everyone and the stories average one page each. I bought six for christmas.

Terry Dahling managed to donate 29 stories.

Just received my order today, already browsed some of the the 'humor' stories...great stuff and worth more than the $10.00 they are charging.

Tales From The Teamhouse

Gentlemen,

I highly recommend it. I too, have ordered multiple copies. Behind the scene, one SF vet financed it all. He also "advanced" the profits to the Save The Montagnard People (STMP) through the SFA & SOA. Ben Roberts is an awesome dude. He was a 91B4S at A-223 in the RVN. We were in SFTG in '65-'66.

Pete's comments in another thread piqued my curiosity. Anyone know if there is definitely a sequel in the making and when it may be published? I checked the original website....didn't see a mention of anything in the works. I loved the book and the one I gave as a gift was well received.
