What do you think of this article? (SOF Surge)

I saw this on the Army Times site today, I was just curious what your opinions are on the matter of a surge. I found it really interesting because it talks about the 'white' and 'black' Special Operations units, and how they're different in terms of assets, etc. I also found it interesting because some people talk about SF (Actual SF) losing focus of their primary mission (FID/UW), and doing more DA missions instead.
I'm sure there are quite a few QPs on this board who will enjoy what is said in the final paragraph.
