ballistic breaching rounds

Anyone have any experience with Royal Arms TESAR rounds for ballistic breaching? We're currently using TKO and we're looking for other options.

I used the Royal Arms stuff while at a breaching school several years ago. We used the TESAR and the TESCR in the couse as well as got some good demos. They worked well and had little overpentration, but you needed to have the appropriate round for the type of door/frame/lock...

You might give Russ Hart (rus@breacher.com) who runs the R.E.S.T. school a call. I'm pretty sure he did the demos at one of the Breacher's Symposiums for Royal Arms.

Also there's a good article by P Howe discussing shotgun breaching (but it has nothing to do with the Royal Arms stuff)
