Happy Thanksgiving 2008
To all the members here at PS.com, I just wanted to express a sincere and heartfelt Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.
Tis the time to spend with family and friends, and cherish that time together. For those of you who are OCONUS and those of us who work this day, and are unable to spend time with our families, realize that you do have a family here on this site, and that we are with you always.
Here's a scene from one of the best Thanksgiving shows EVER. Enjoy.

I've always liked that scene. Here's one of my favorites.
Happy Thanksgiving all!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL
Once again our church will have a Thanksgiving Lunch for everybody. Had a signup sheet for the big items - I chickened out and am doing a glazed ham. The fellowship committee is doing the major fixin's. M-I-L is doing her special dressing. Looks like it will have plenty of food.
The reason we started the lunch tradition a few years ago was because of the number of elderly widows with no family in town. Now everybody comes to the church. Anybody has family in town they bring them along.
After everybody is well feed and a few songs have been sung it's time to fix the to-go plates.

Happy Thanksgiving!
It's always hard to decide which dish is best...the turkey? The dressing, perhaps? Or the pie?
So, clearly, repeated samplings are in order!

From Sunny Santa Cruz Bolivia I wish to say I hope you all have a very nice Thanksgiving.
I hope all of our men and women deployed protecting our county have a chance to take a break and enjoy some turkey and all the fixings.

And a Happy Thanksgiving for one and all. To those of you still "bearing the burden", our prayers for your security and a safe return when your mission is completed. May you find some time for peaceful introspection (and a messhall for feasting and fellowship!).

A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear.
