Another Scam
A friend sent me this info. I have not checked it out but thought you should know.
Just thought you might be interested – you sent a little while ago a link to a company called ‘e-stealth’ a company supposedly supplying a variety of software downloads for all sorts of nefarious activities.
It would seem as though they are a very sophisticated fraud.
I say this on the basis that I am informed that when a credit card transaction is attempted, the web site (after giving all your credit card details of course) comes back with an error message saying the transaction cannot be completed – try again later.
Then, low and behold, 30 minutes later the money magically vanishes from your account, and, needless to say – when you carefully check, there is no way to contact this e-stealth crowd other than by an email type message.
I am aware of an individual who, thinking he had a problem with one of his cards tried again with another different card – same error message, but two payments extracted from each card.
Nice way to make money!!
