What to bring to the holaday party,, for knuckle dragers and non-chiefs
I thought I'd start a new thread for the Holidays. We have collected a bunch of recipes from family & friends over time. So I thought I'd share here.
Most of these are very easy and make real nice offerings when the host ask you to bring something to the party..
I scanned the recites so I could create a CD for our kids, so they are in JPG format and are free to download..
Please excuse the crumb smudges, drips, and finger prints..
I'll start with side dishes:

These are a little more work,, probably would be better if you were having guest and served these at home.
The Fettuccine Alfredo is my own concoction. If you decide to add a side dish of meat, try steamed shrimp or lobster. Don't put the meat into the sauce as it will alter the flavor, but you can spoon the sauce over the meat when you plate individual dishes.

Thank Your Sir, for those recipies!
Your crock-pot sugared pecans or walnuts sound mighty tasty! Since I love the taste of all the ingredients, I might dust the nuts with some nutmeg powder before serving.
Yumm!

This is pretty generic, but in my humble opinion, tastes fantastic:
