AR-15 Front Sight Trick

I wanted to share a trick I learned for the removal/installation of the front sight post of the M16 style weapons. If you have a 1/16 inch punch and a pencil with an eraser on the back, here it is (kind of self explanitory):

Force the eraser over top of the post (centered), depress the detent with the punch keeping the punch against the wall of the hole, and unscrew. Be careful that the detent doesn't fly into the ceiling though.

I just figured I'd share in case someone needed a more efficient way of removing/installing the post as opposed to using a front sight tool.

Thanks for the tip, we have been having to do some old front site posts lately and this will make it easier. The crappy front site tools never work, I have already broken the prongs off of several of them.
