Lest We Forget.

Today is Remembrance Day in Canada. I would like to thank all Canadians who fought in past wars and those who are fighting today. All of you have contributed to making Canada what it is today.

Of course Canada could not have done it alone so I also want to thank all of those who fought alongside Canada. Victory would not have been possible without all of you. Fighting together, the Allies have made the world a better place.

I will never forget what any of these men and women have done and will be standing with all of you today at 11:11am.

Thank you, one and all. Lest we forget.

As a teacher, I possess a tremendous power to make a child’s life miserable or joyous. I can be a tool of torture or an instrument of inspiration. I can humiliate or heal. In all situations, it is my response that decides whether a crisis will be escalated or de-escalated and a child humanized or dehumanized.

Thanks to our northern neighbors who have shed blood beside us over the many years.

90th anniversary today of the end of the War to End All Wars.

RIP to the fallen.

Today is a very special day for you and us. Many a soldier/sailor/airman has shed his sweat and blood to protect your country and ours for many a year.

For their sacrifice we can live safe.

RIP
