Obama Election Riots?

I was just informed by a friend that Obama supporters around the nation have "riot centers" in major cities incase of an unexpected McCain victory in November. Allegedly, his supporters plan to assault "white people" if Obama is up in the polls the night before the election and does not pull off the win.

I was wondering if anyone else had heard any rumors along these same lines. I've done some google searches and found nothing. My friend can't remember where she heard this news. I'll continue searching, but I wanted to get this information out there. Seeing as it's premeditated, politically-motivated violence I placed it in the "Terrorism" threads. If it is misplaced, my apologies.

I haven't heard anything like that through my LE channels, though it wouldn't surprise me if many of BHOs supporters started riots if he didn't win, with that being said do I think they're pre-planning them in any real organized way on a large scale, frankly I doubt it, but anything is possible. Best advice is to cast your vote early, and stay off the streets after dark.

Much as anything else if a riot did break out it would not have the staying power the lib media would wish for it. I was around when the Rodney King issue had every city on edge. Worst case scenario for us was "concerned citizens" chasing after us while we were chasing suspects (on foot, vehicles, whatever). After all the usual bombast the mob generally cools down when force is applied. The question of violence centers is of little concern to LEO's unless direct threats are present. Our intelligence section has not given us any hints of future unrest; at least not in my city.

No. I am Black and from New York City and I have not heard that either. All I have heard here and there is some tough talk from a few thugs there but no organized plans for any kind of rioting or carrying on. Even on predominantly Black message boards the question has been asked by some concerned about securing their stores, etc...
The general opinion is that if anything some criminal types might use the opportunity to loot. I personally believe that the organized riot type talk is being perpetuated by White Supremacist groups.

The Media needs to start explaining the Bradley/Wilder Effect immediately. Polls are never as accurate as they would like you to think they are. Race is going to play a huge role in this election. With the events of ACORN, Ayers, ...you would think that the red flag should be up...but some rather not pay attention to the obvious and only see "black". THing is, there are alot of white that would vote a black person in office, like myself and family, but not BHO. Something just doesnt click with him. No warm and fuzzies here.

I wouldn't doubt one bit about the potential for riots in certain places. See how a true civilized community leader would handle and quell those, who should be the first to go to the hot spots to calm the masses if he loses.

Btw, what if all the white people rioted if BHO wins?

Add the ACORN shame, Joe the Plumbing vetting and the Truth Squads.....Organized civil unrest by the Obots isn't too far fetched.

I guess we'll cross this bridge when and if we are given the catalysts for things to become combustable.

What you call "getting it out there" is what I call spreading unfounded rumors. I don't see how spreading this rumor is good for anything.

If no one has any facts then lets quit spreading any more unsupported Rumors.

This so far has no fact based info and we do not spread rumors. Here on this board we deal in things that can be backed up in facts. Opinions are great but this type on rumor does no one any good.

Hmmmm the only facts I found....after a bit of searching were comments by one James Carville during CNN's Anderson Cooper 360 and a few other websites speculating what would happen if he loses.

It appears to all be speculation (no facts) and Carville's comments just added fuel to the fire......

OK I had only heard of what Carville was speculating. Still have not seen any facts of any plan/prep by his people. A lot of people just thinking out loud of bad twist if they do not get their way. I figure it is a scare tactic at most.

The rumor might have started with a call the Hugh Hewitt show received from a police officer who said they were training to be prepared for potential rioting or civil unrest after the elections.
