What’s in a name; A tangent to thread “26 Sept. Presidential Debate Discussion”
http://www.professionalsoldiers.com/...ghlight=debate
Observations:
Senator Obama addressed Senator McCain as ‘Tim… John’, ‘Jim… John’ and ‘John’ throughout the debate, until the subject of Military Service came up, at which point Senator Obama started using ‘Senator McCain’.
I noticed that Senator McCain did not look at Senator Obama or address him as anything other than ‘Senator’ or 'Senator Obama' in the second-person.
From a discussion that I recently heard on this subject, it may be that this was due to the way the Senator was addressing Senator McCain… with a lack of respect.
In the case of our Sep. 26 Debate… Was Senator Obama knowingly disrespecting Senator McCain by calling him by his (usually his) first name?

Why would the annointed one NOT disrespect his opponent; he does everyone else?
Sen McCain did a fine job. If I did not have to look at BHO, aka turtle dung, I wouldn't either.

This may be a little off topic, but why does everyone call obama the annointed one? Is he annoited in KY so he can slide up everyone's ass a little easier?

He is an asshat.... The media would have jumped on the subtlety in an instant if sen. McCain had said Barry, or Barack...
or called him senator osama

Hold on just a minute!
Red Flag,
What have turtles or reptiles more generally ever done to you or yours to warrant a comparison to Senator Obama?
The only thing that Senator Obama has inspired me to change is my belief that I couldn't dislike someone more than Senator Kerry.

LOL I could see it now... "C'mon Barry! What relationship do you have with Tony Rezko? Let's hear it, Barry!"

No, he was just trying to un-nerve Senator McCain and get him riled up. Guess that backfired on him.
