Obama & National Security
Interesting Obama article. Not sure a hotlink is okay so you will need to cut and paste.

O' Bama is the catalyst for change that we need.
The same way that gasoline is the catalyst for cleansing a contaminated structure.

Both of the candidates nausiate me at best, i find myself quietly cheering for a revolution more and more often.

It has been my experience thus far to not fret over such actions. Accept the things you cannot change, have the courage to change the things you can, and pray for the wisdom to know the difference. If America as a whole votes this guy in, and the worst thing imaginable materializes, you better hope your well prepared. Plan now as you would for an emergency. Riots, looting, and pillaging are possible threats to you as an individual. Prepare for the safety of your family, and help those that you care for prepare. Just in case. Better to have it and not need it. Some may consider that paranoia, I consider it the removal of doubt. Just my .02. Back in my lane.

So what positive change do you see BHO bringing, and how will BHO do that

Should he survive all the way to election time as a viable candidate with all of the outstandingly bizarre associations he seems to have and the policies he seems to espouse, he will likely have the backing of an overwhelmingly leftist congress.
At that point I hope & believe, we're going to see the true meaning of the term "shit hits the fan" as people realize they've turned the leadership of this country over to someone who's only real life experience is as an ethnocentric political organizer.
Congress will feed him one liberal program after another for his rubber stamp. The military will be drastically reorganized, re-tasked and de-funded and the UN will gain leadership in terms of their ability to activate programs they've advocated for years.
In the very best scenario people may wake up and quizzically start scratching their heads and say "WTF have we done?" and "How could this happen?" At that point you may see drastic and very positive change.

At what cost? And how long would it take to undo the harm you predict would occur?

When BHo makes open ended statments such as We need a National Military I am shaking my head thinking WTF and get visions of Jack Boots and Swatikas.
Please correct me I am wrong, but isn't the National Guard considered our National Military?

We already have a civilian national security force.
They're clinging to guns and religion.

Ahhhh..... yes, the BHO insight and great knowledge. Ever the "visionary and prophet".

Unfortunately I've broken up with the Gypsy girl. She stole my crystal ball and the 8-ball oracle just says the "Future Is Unclear". Pass me the popcorn & tell us what you think?
How long can we support our current debt & spending and still host programs like:
http://obama.senate.gov/press/080213-obama_hagel_can_1/
If the man has the audacity to publicly advocate a program of this type I wonder what he'd like to do in his "heart-of-hearts" emboldened by a fully stacked Congress?

The Global Poverty Act: (s.2433 & hr.1302)
a.. Declares it official U.S. policy to promote the reduction of global poverty, the elimination of extreme global poverty, and the achievement of the Millennium Development Goal of cutting extreme global poverty in half by 2015.
b.. Requires the President to develop and implement a comprehensive strategy to carry out that policy.
c.. Includes guidelines for what the strategy should include - from aid, trade, and debt relief, to working with the international community, businesses and NGOs, to ensuring environmental sustainability.
d.. Requires that the President's strategy include specific and measurable goals, efforts to be undertaken, benchmarks, and timetables.
e.. Requires the President to report back to Congress on progress made in the implementation of the global poverty strategy.

I would suggest you start screaming at your elected Senate and Congressional representatives to make sure this does not go any further..

There is an old Twilight Zone episode named 'To Serve Man'. In ways it is eerily similar to the Obama Train. It is worth watching if you can put up with B&W and simple props.
Then there is that part in the movie Independence Day where all these euphoric and clueless people are on top a building partying with greeting signs....that is Obama Nation. And just like those greeters they may be in for a rude awakening.
