Fascinating! Thank you, Sir!

Do my ears deceive me, or is that a small caliber mini-gun I hear?

Good find,, It's one of the better vid clips showing NV-IR gear, in use.

I'll send the link to my non-mil types,, a little education on the technology edge we have..

Not sure about the spray-n-pray on egress,, a little over kill?? not good for winning harts-n-minds.

The above video has been used by the anti-war crowd...

Here is one they would have a hard time corrupting...

Obviously you've never been in Sadr City.

Back during the Vietnam era, there was a saying. Something about grabbing sensitive parts and their hearts and minds would follow...

Remember it well,,,
Didn't it come from a leg 2nd Lt called Bill Calley,
Didn't do much for his career, if I remember correctly???

It was made famous by a plaque Chuck Colson had on his wall when he was council to Nixon in the WH. Which was a re-worked version of something LBJ said, and there are thoughts it thread back to Teddy Roosevelt & a young Lt. Douglas MacArthur, around 1906.

"If you have them by the balls, their harts & minds will follow"

Maybe things have changed,,
but I am not a fan of spray-n-pray,,
Wastes to much ammo,,
And creates to much paper work..
