It's amazing what you find....
Taking the weekend off up at the family holiday home. They built it back in the 60s. Heaps of old time stuff hanging around, old books, furniture, that kinda thing.
So I happen to pick up a tattered 1981 'People Weekly' magazine and lo and behold there's an article on Charlie Beckwith entitled “Iran Raid Commander Charlie Beckwith Quits the Army, But Not the Fight.”
It talks about how he was going to retire in 82 and set up a counterinsurgency business in Texas.
Funny what you find….
