Just found out that SGM Cooper passed away this past Friday April 25 at 04:40 AM. He will be missed. RIP SGM.

Update - SGM Rudy Cooper
CSM(R) Rudolph William Cooper (D-838), age 84, of Manassas, VA, formerly of Tucson AZ died on April 25, 2008. CSM Cooper was a highly decorated veteran of World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War, earning a Silver Star, 3 Purple Hearts, and 10 Bronze Stars along with a variety of other honors and awards. He is survived by two daughters, three grandsons, four great grandchildren and a brother.
A mass was held in his behalf at the Veteran’s Hospital Chapel on Wednesday, April 30th in Washington, DC
A Graveside service is planned forThursday, May 8, 2008 at 3:00 pm at Lafayette Memorial Park in Fayetteville with full military honors.
