Soldiers poetry and short stories
Obtained a paperback that is a little different. AN ODYSSEY IN BROKEN RHYTHMS AND RAGGED LINES by Charles F. "The Hawk" Weyant. It is not what I normally read. Poetry and short stories from his life in Louisiana to the battlefields of Vietnam. Seems he was point man for a recon platoon in Charlie Company, Sixteenth Infantry..... called themselves the Mudsoldiers and Rangers. Different and entertaining.........Published by Old Mountain Press.

"If you love wealth more than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, depart from us in peace. We ask not your counsel nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you. May your chains rest lightly upon you and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen." [Samuel Adams]
