GO SARAH! US Nationals, weightlifting

My friend Sarah Bertram is competing today at the 2008 US National Weightlifting Championships in Columbus Ohio.

Thanks for posting this Bill. I've always been a huge fan of the O-lifts!

I've got the competition streaming now, wish it was on ESPN so I could watch on the big screen.

Sarah just moved up one weight class and told me a couple days ago that the competition was going to be tough.

Pete, No I will not challenge her to an arm wrestling contest for beer, she would break my arm off and beat me with it for the bad calories beer has.

Sarah took 4th at nationals in her new weight class of 69 kilos.

I was told (not by Sarah) that one of the women in her event, a former Olympic Team member, dropped one weight class down into Sarah's. This is the woman who won it. Tough competition, just like Sarah told me it would be.
