Thumbs up Pisco Sour

If anyone wants to try a truly refreshing drink, this recipie should fill the bill.
A Peruvian-Style Pisco Sour

Ingredients:

Juice of 1/2 lime
1 tablespoon pasteurized egg white
2 tablespoons sugar, or more to taste
1/4 cup crushed ice
2 ounces Peruvian pisco (1/4 cup)
Angostura bitters

Directions:

In a blender, combine the lime juice with the sugar and mix to dissolve the sugar. Add the pisco, egg white and ice and blend at high speed until frothy. Pour into a sour glass, add a few drops of bitters and serve.

Effects:

Make sure you are situated for a pleasent experience..i.e. surround yourself with folks that you like, add some great music, and Enjoy!

had my first pisco sour a few weeks ago here in Colorado. you recipe is good, but my way to make them was better

step 1: call Peruvian friend
step 2: have her make them
step 3: drink a lot of them
step 4: wake up next to Peruvian girl
step 5: repeat

so, basically I have to say I like them.

Okay The Pisco Sour is a drink to be enjoyed with friends...And Ladies, if you find yourself in Latin America, remember this:

All men in Latin America enjoy Latina's...not gringas.

SF_BHT,

I suspect some Latina's do as well, but that's a whole other thread!
