National Museum of the U.S. Army

The United States Army is the only branch of the American military without a national museum. There is an ongoing effort to raise $200 million dollars to build a new national landmark.

Here is your chance to be a founding sponsor of the museum. The following is a link to contribute to a worthy cause.

The Marine's museum opened in November of 2006.

General Christmas(ret) was the point man on that one and I have been told it is well worth the visit. Planning on taking a look this year when I go up to see my son who lives in the Centreville area.
