BAGHDAD — The U.S. military said Saturday that an Iraqi soldier apparently shot dead two American service members for "reasons that are as yet unknown" while they were on a joint patrol north of the capital. An Iraqi official said the suspect has links to militant groups.
Question: In your opinion, who should be given the "command" lead in this invesigation?

Combined with MND-N. Maybe even MNC-I. I don't think this is something that can be left to either the Americans or the Iraqis by themselves. I think this needs to be combined.

I'll say this; at least the Army didn't cover this up for months before letting lose with an explanation.

I knew Rowdy Inman pretty well. We were PLs and XOs together. A great guy with a ton of experience, all the way back to when he was an NCO in the 82nd during Gulf War I. He was a Troop Commander on this tour.

My following hypothetical question is: How many more infiltrators are in the ranks, particularly in areas not directly influenced by the surge? I don't think you'll ever find the honest answer to this.
