Finland celebrates our 90th Independence Day.

Today we Finns celebrate our 90th Independence Day.

Today we also remember and honor those men and women who paid for that independence with blood, in bitter fighting in the Winter, Continuation and Lapland wars.

Congrats and many returns.

And keep an eye on the Russkies, you never know when they will try again.

What they said! Many happy returns. The Russians have underestimated the determination of the Finns to remain a free country several times - to the everlasting sorrow of their widows and orphans. Sadly the Kremlin never seems to hear the lamentations of the serfs.
