Fred Thompson on FOX News
I normally don't watch Fox News, but I did today, to see my guy for '08, Fred.
I thought he handled himself like a gentleman, as always, and didn't give FOX the satisfaction when they tried to ruffle his feathers.
He was very clear and concise in his answers, and true to form, he has remained quite possibly thee lone candidate in the arena of "consistency". Not just in the run up to elections, but in a career and lifetime.
Did anyone else catch that program this morning? Any thoughts on this?

Saw it and liked what he had to say.
I did think that Wallace went hard on him and Fred had to get serious to let him finish his answer and say what he felt he had to.

TR,
Those were my thoughts too.
Fred went head on into him, instead of cowering. So much so, that, I thought he caught Wallace off guard.
I thought Wallace did a little back peddle-5th POC-kissing at the end.
Was it just me, or did you also catch, Wallace's subtle hiccups, when trying to transition from the end of conversation to the end of program?

Yep.
I think he was a bit rattled, but not as bad as when Klinton lit him up (rudely and uncalled for).

It was on Fox News, Broadsword. They just had a rerun of the original airing, I liked what I heard. You might check for a clip or transcript on the site.

i.e.; "That PFC has his head up his 5th POC." or "Hey Pvt., get your head out of your 5th POC." or my favorite one "That PFC has his head so far up his 5th POC, he can see his own intestinal fortitude."
