Disability Reform
Does this ring True to anyone??
As it stands now, the percent of disabled service members awarded Disability Retirement (30% or higher) is as follows:
Army- 13%
Marine Corps- 18%
Navy -36%
Air Force- 27%
Obviously, there are some discrepencies among the services. Lobbyists and others are calling upon Congress and others to establsh a more consistant rating system.
