This is too horrible to even imagine.
Is there any way to get in touch with this family and express our sorrow?
Can we set up a memorial fund that will help this family? I realize that money is a very poor substitute but it allows a lot of people to express their sorrow.

My family will certainly keep this couple in our prayers.

Not much info, but I did find this:

Donations to help the family cover expenses can be made to the John A. and Monalisa Johnson Fund at any Bank of America.

Tell the bank associate that the account is domiciled in Texas. There may be some confusion as to the actual name of the fund which was originally called the "Ashley and Logan Johnson Memorial Fund,"

EDIT: Also found this.

An account to help Johnson, who is with Fort Bliss' 4-1 Cavalry, and his family has been set up at FirstLight Federal Credit Union, which has seven branches in El Paso and Las Cruces.
Contributions to the Johnson Family Memorial Fund may be made by calling 1-800-351-1670 or by visiting the following branches:

Kenworthy Branch, 9993 Kenworthy, El Paso

Lee Trevino Branch, 1555 N. Lee Trevino, El Paso

Marshall Branch, 1741 Marshall, El Paso

William Beaumont Army Medical Center Branch, 5005 N. Piedras, El Paso

Del Rey Branch, 3105 Del Rey, Las Cruces

Lohman Branch, 3791 E. Lohman, Las Cruces

Foster Branch, 300 E. Foster, Las Cruces

Praying.

This hurt bad. the Johnson family was here in the same fisher house as us. Their son Logan played with my son Logan, it was amusing. They were a beautiful family, and my wife is heart-broken over their loss. We're going to donate.

I know the chaplain serving the husband and wife, he works out of the Center for the Intrepid here at Sam Houston.

Too much for any family to bear...

Devastating!

The night my son was born a young Marine was driving his wife to the same hospital for delivery. A car ran a red light and T-boned them killing her. The baby survived. After that, any time I got frustrated at our baby's screaming or crying in the middle of the night, I just thought about that young man and the problems he was faced with. I'm sure I had a cake-walk compared to him.

Prayers out!

Pat
