RFA - PRC-117

RFA, anyone with a high speed PPT on this system that can help out would be greatly appreciated. Our PSD squad is about to roll out shortly and we just found out we'll be using these radios regularly but no one really knows too much about it (to include the S6).

About all I know is the really expensive and easily breakable X-Wing plugs into it and constantly falls off my truck while somewhere in there communicating to satellites. I know there's a lot more to it, we just don't have any SMEs on the system. We will be using the class for myself and the team leaders and in turn teaching our joes the ins and outs of working with it.

If anyone is still at Campbell and has the time, a face to face would be great as I have been told our unit doesn't have fills for CONUS and group possibly does??

I searched and followed the above link to Harris' site, but I was pretty much lost. Anything is better than what we've got so far. I will continue to search to see if I overlooked something already here.

Thanks in advance guys.

Stay safe,

Bull
