Masonry Construction

I am leaving for Ft. Benning 20080214 for 11BP1 and I have 18X in my contract after completion of BAC. I have been in the masonry construction business for 15 years. Besides laying brick and block I am very knowledgable in plan reading, structual engineering , and have been a job foreman for many years. My question is will any of these skills be helpful obtaining the 18C MOS?

Possibly. It will certainly make you a very handy guy to have on a team, should you make it that far.

Many other factors will be involved, especially, as you will soon learn, a little thing called "needs of the Army".

Don't get too far ahead of yourself. Focus on the 25 meter target first.
