Hard Drive Question
I have a 2nd hard drive in my Dell desktop (thanks Kyo). Can I store all my information on that hard drive, pull it, and put it in another computer later on and still have the information?

Yes.
It is easier if you use removable hard drive bays.

By "store all your information" do you mean data files? If so yes.
If you're talking about installed applications, then no. Unless, that is, it is the same hardware configuration.

Help as in?!?!?
Also, what Operating System are you running??
You most likely will have to resurrect this drive using the same or close OS!!

XP. I really need Kyo. I can't remember which one is which. If I pull one of them, do I have to be worried about the loose cables and what not?

You are good to go with the operating system. Once you pull the drive the power and ribbon cable can just be loose in the cabinet...they won't short anything out.

Well, I pulled the one and started it back up - it's booting up.
