All very interesting, but don't you think it's more important to show what it does to a bowl of jello?

Your statement is spot on. Performance in ballistic gelatin is considered by both the US military and Federal government the only valid impact medium from which to predict and assess living tissue destruction.

In the year 2002 Gary Roberts made phone contact to request I provide Le Mas rounds for him to test. After I had told him the Le Mas bullets would perform differently in living tissue than ballistic gelatin he advised me he would test the ammunition in both mediums. At the conclusion of the ballistic gelatin testing, Mr. Roberts pointed to multiple gelatin blocks that had been impacted with Le Mas and conventional ammunition and he stated to me, “If you can just find a way to make your bullets act like those bullets, then you would have something.” As he packed gear up, I asked him about the live tissue testing he mentioned. His response was that there was no need to do such testing as it is impossible for any type of ammunition to perform differently in living tissue. During the years that followed I was told by a very senior member of a US military procurement organization that the he did not care what living tissue data Le Mas could present because the US government does acknowledge bullet performance data in living tissue. His statements hold true to this day.

Wink

That looks a lot like the wound on the 180+lb deer my fellow officer had to put down with his G22 w/ .40 LEMAS.

The "terminal performance" on actual live tissue is disturbing.

Sure hope this ammo never fall in the hands of the unworthy; or the chinese who will only attempt to copy them....

Le Mas .45acp CQB-4 bullet penetration through 3A soft armor into Perma Gel and living tissue appendage is shown below.

The Le Mas CQB-4 bullet core and jacket material was recovered intact from the Perma Gel after penetrating the 3A soft armor, however the same bullet design when impacting living tissue reqired 3 rolls of guaze field dressings to fill the permanent wound cavity created below.
