Congressman Accuses Bush of Being Amused by the Death's of American Servicemen

What a buffoon:

'"Where are you going to get that money? Are you going to tell us lies like you're telling us today? Is that how you're going to fund the war? You don't have money to fund the war or children. But you're going to spend it to blow up innocent people if we can get enough kids to grow old enough for you to send to Iraq to get their heads blown off for the president's amusement."' - Rep. Pete Stark (D-CA)

Total Moonbat.

That statement is so incoherent, it's even hard to read, let alone listen to.

Dem out of California. Now there's a big surprise! Nothing like giving the POTUS a bit of respect for the office he holds, even if you don't like the guy.

What's worse is that he thought it made sense. Kinda like talking to a drunk when your totally sober.

I realize the Koolaid is intoxicating, but what's being put in it out in Kalifornia ?

My personal favorite is the whackos that come out of the woodwork to defend these statements. Armed with their "75% of America agrees with us b.s.," as well as some typical left-wing spin headlines, they proceed to spew their rhetoric.

Then the absolute best is the comment from some loon named Eric about "there are no conservatives in the military." Every day I wonder more and more where these people come from?

It's pretty ironic, they hate America, yet we're one of the few places in the world that allow people like this to survive...

Since this comment was after their defeat on the second attempt of a revised a SCHIP bill. Let's examine where the money would come from in the first place.

Simple, tax .68 cents onto each pack of cigarettes sold. Geeez, yet another "Sin tax" on smokers. What about alcohol, fatty foods, suger based snacks ? Remember the "Twinkie Tax" explanation from Allen Keyes ?

After looking more closely, it appears that this tax on cigarettes would have only supported the funding for two years. What's next ? Encourage Americans to start smoking to help the kids ?

Just be happy you don't have to deal with people like that on a daily basis, face to face.
I made it absolutely clear on my job site that I do not want to hear a word about my re-enlistment, or how anybody feels about the war. It gets under my skin far to quickly.
It doesn't matter where to money comes from...are REAL Americans really going to let our troops not get funding? I certainly doubt it...Kalifornistan should have no input on the matter. The hypocrisy that wafts in the air out here may be the problem.

I've sat in a teleconference meeting listening too people spout all kinds of "liberal" BS and I said...

"Ain't it like any of you guys are willing to fight, HELL! You can't even figure out how to build this f*#king hotel! Lets leave the polical commentary out of the meeting and concentrate on the task that we immediately face...CONSTRUCTION!"

Stay safe.

my letter

Well, here is what I just faxed ol Stark, thanks for posting his info Ret10Echo.

Pete Stark, Congressman

Dear Mr. Stark,
I wanted to send a letter to you regarding your comments:

'"Where are you going to get that money? Are you going to tell us lies like you're telling us today? Is that how you're going to fund the war? You don't have money to fund the war or children. But you're going to spend it to blow up innocent people if we can get enough kids to grow old enough for you to send to Iraq to get their heads blown off for the president's amusement."'

The very same soldiers you mention are fighting to give you the right of free speech. In the future, you might want to consider that fact before you decided to open your mouth, and dishonor them and their families.

You may think you are speaking the gospel up there in Washington, being surrounded by like-minded fellows. But let me assure you, there are real Americans out here that think you are a whining, ignorant, used car salesman, that will never know what it is like to be a True American.

Also, since you clearly hate America, why not consider a move to a place that shares your beliefs? Like Iran? I am sure they would welcome you with open arms.
Have a wonderful day!

Sincerely,
Holly
An American
