Angry WSJ and CMOH

First sentence from article this morning:

"The Dalai Lama will be welcomed to Washington this week, where he'll receive the Congressional Medal of Honor, America's highest civilian award."

Bad job of editing and sloppy reporting. The Dalai Lama will receive the Presidential Medal of Freedom our nations highest civilian honor, not the CMH.

There is an email address for feedback: feedback@wsj.com

They already have one that begins with "Christ on a crutch, you idiot...."

It's not the Congressional Medal of HONOR.

It's the Congressional GOLD Medal

...and it is the highest civilian award from Congress.

They got the story right.

WM they have since corrected it. The original story said that he was being awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor.

I didn't take a screen shot, although they didn't change the story the next day or list a correction. However, these people still have the original story posted.

I wouldn't have bothered with the NY Times, but I had thought better of the WSJ. Lesson learned.
